Caden {4.28.14}

I am here in good old Neosho. No it is not dominantly Asian either... We actually teach a ton of Pompeian people from Micronesia. It is cool I guess. Elder Kofford is cool. I don't hate him after all:) so the big news: I went back to Springfield Saturday for Josh and Shelby’s baptism. I am going back in two weeks for Katie’s. And the week after for two more!:) I miss that place... anywho, we survived the tornado! The closest one touched down 3 miles north of my town and killed two people! It was pretty crazy! I have some voice deals and pics for yall. But I am safe and didn't see it touch down:( have a great week sunbeams of Zion. Oh ya! And i helped Katie take out her lip ring! I keep pliers on me at all times!!

Caden {4.21.14}

Well I guess it is time for me to leave! I am going to Neosho, MO. I am very sad to be leaving the day and week before a total combination of 5 baptisms we set up! I am hoping they will follow through! We are being shot gunned so we are not sure. They told us they wouldn’t if even one of us left so now that we both are all we can do is pray!! I don’t know my new address yet but i am sad to be leaving elder Teske. Bishop took us to St. Roberts for Easter. That was really fun with the whole family! Can't wait to talk to yall next week with the new info! My new companion is Elder Coughard or Koffard. Not sure how to spell it and I don't really care... bless his heart! Caden {4.14.14}

Hey yall... what’s new? I don't get updates very often anymore! I am grateful for the usual people that email! But i know there are more of you out there;) This week we worked very very hard for 50 lessons... We came up with 48 but we tried so hard! It was a lil heartbreaking but i don't even care! Taylor’s baptism went very well on Friday:) and on Saturday we got to go to Gunnar Atwells baptism. Me and Elder Cross taught him all the way through while we are in Marshfield! It was so exciting to see that he is finally able to go through with it and it was so nice to go back to Marshfield. The whole drive there we listened to Mindy Gledhill - i will rest in you! It was on repeat for a straight 2 hours! And i am still not sick of it. Neither is E. Teske so that’s good! Haha. It was a full and fun week though. A couple relapses with some gators but still pushing forward. We met a drunk chick at a bar the other day. Her name was Steph but we could call her butterfly if we wanted... i was the only that did! She wanted us to pray with her so out of curiosity i asked her to pray! It made my day:) bless her heart! She saw the temple on a pass along card and told us she was going to fly there and sleep there TONIGHT! Isn’t meth great! But don't worry "the good God Lord Man Above said stop it Steph! And be free from meth. ‘All of yall should follow Steph and be free! Till next week and for always... love Elder Batman Madsen!

I almost forgot! We got to see Amber and Matthew Hollingshead too!!!! is was the best!!

Caden {4.7.14}

So another week of 41 lessons! The bishop wants to get sisters here too so next two weeks we have to hit 60! I am freaking out!! But super excited. We are going caving today! We are still on for Fridays baptism:) i am super excited about that! I get the see and old investigator from Marshfield today! I am so stoked! The work is going great and i love and Miss Yall! Here are some peeps! We threw out all the liquor like a boss! She was angry but that’s just how Missouri do! Haha they got rid of everything imaginable! p.s. conference was the best!!! I hope yall loved it:) and rise to the challenge and start reading pmg! Know what i am teaching these people:)

{Four}

Today marks four months!!! Holy cow. Time is starting to pick up and I'm so happy about that. Haha. But really, I am even happier he is there. He's doing amazing and that makes all of this so easy.

This months postcard takes place in my car. Caden ALWAYS and still talkes about how when I'd drive I "keep my hand chipped around your ear and drive with one arm" he claims it is his favorite thing ever. We live fairly close to one another so sometimes when we'd go places in seperate cars, we'd drive home side by side and I can't explain what exactly we loved about that, but it was the best. ♡ Some of my favorite laughs, tears, and conversations happened in my car,  along with some of our hardest goodbyes. I miss him each day but we have grown even more in love these past four months so I wouldn't change a thing. Keep it up babe, I love you!
