Caden {1.27.14}

Hey there party peeps. So here i am on the campus of MSU. So college life on a mission is interesting. But i love it here. THE WEATHER IS JUST LIKE UTAH. Yesterday was a high of 45 and today is 7. What the heck... so i am just freezing so no big deal. I think i have everyone on my list so if not let me know! I got really cool packages from my family and McKayla. Happy birthday shout out to McKayla back on the 17 which is also happy anniversary to mi hermanitos Kylee y Luis. So i teach lessons in Spanish every once in a while. I love it so much! Only a few more days till Chris and Heather's baby! I am in shock over how fast that went. So i am kinda funny and if any of yall see Chris or heather ask them about the fun fact i made up. Funniest deal in the world! So two days ago a guy needed a quarter for the bus. I gave him a buck and he goes. "You a nice m.f. don’t do dope and lose you license m.f. and have a great m.f. day" i almost died laughing! Cause he was being sincere. The picture is of my new friend Bearnie Ermin that we met downtown! He is so awesome!!! The other one is of me being sexy at a service project around campus. You’re welcome. This week has been incredible with the spirit because of all the young kids truly desiring to know answers! If you have not taken a chance to pray about the book of Mormon read Moroni 10:3-5. Birthday Package ♥

So today I got a package & letter from Caden. Holy crap I love him. He told me Monday, while emailing that it was on it's way, so I have waited a l l week for it to finally get here. Well, it was worth waiting for. This weekend has been really tough not having him here, and he made it all better. The package was filled with little inside jokes that I l o v e d! First, the little heart is something he made me while out there, and a cute picture one of the kids he has been teaching drew for us. So cute. Next, a bunch of pictures from his mission, including writing little comments and explanations on the back of each picture. He has said several times how excited he is to take me there and share it with me, and I can't wait. He also sent me a milk jug cap. So, Caden is like crazy weird about his milk. Like he refuses to share a glass of milk with anyone! In the letter he wrote "As you know, I don't share milk with anyone.. I still haven't even shared it with the girl of my dreams. I am ready to set my pride aside. I am sending you a milk cap as a promise that I, Caden Samuel Clyde Madsen will share milk with McKayla Ann Sheriff. I know baby, it's true, I'd do anything to have you by my side." Cutest. Thing. Ever. He also gave me a mint case filled with half pieces of gum. If you know me, this is SO me. He has always teased me for o n l y eating gum a half at a time, so this was so meaningful, thought out, and hilarious. Next a set of headbands. One time I wore my headband on my forehead and he was like "Ohh.. maybe you should put your HEADband on your HEAD." What a brat. Haha so he said in his letter "I love everything about you exactly the way you are. I am so sorry for what I said that night about your headband. The dumb part is you looked SO good that night. You are so stunningly beautiful. When ever I see you (including at work) you totally mesmerize me. You are MY baby girl. I will love you for all of eternity. Nothing and nobody can change that. I love everything about you and everything you do. You can wear your HEADband down on your foreHEAD when ever you want. You will still be the worlds prettiest girl and the Queen of my dreams! Nothing can get in the way of this love that only God himself could have created. Please forgive me baby. And remember that if you stick with me I will spend the rest of eternity making it up to you. I love you McKayla Ann Sheriff. Even more so, I'm in love with you." ♥

I really truly do not know how I found him, but I'm keeping him. He is so good to me, and even 1200 miles away, he never fails to make me smile like a fool. I have never had someone treat me so well and truly care about me the way he does. I cannot begin to explain the way I feel about this man. But one thing is for sure, I'm never giving up on him, because he has never given up on me and I know he never will. I love you Caden. Thanks for making my birthday, and my life that much more special.

Nineteen! (:

So yesterday was my nineteenth birthday! This is absolutely crazy to me. Feels like I just started middle school. Haha. Cheers to these next two years speeding by too. (; But I had a great day! Started off with my little siblings waking me up by singing happy birthday and giving me a cute little breakfast, then I was off to work. Work was normal, but my cute friends from work bought me cupcakes and sang and such, so that was good! Then after work Kels came over and hung out, and that's always a good time. Then I met up with Kylie, Michelle, and Lindsey to get mani/pedis. That was much needed! Such a good time. Then the four of us met up with Zak and Kaylee at my favorite restaurant, Wingers. We decided to go crazy and get a 50 piece stinger finger platter to share, and man that was fun. Hahah. We definitely didn't come close to finishing, but hey the thought was there. After dinner we went back to my house for cheesecake (I hate cake) and just hung out. I really do have the best friends, and family. They were very good to me and I love them all to pieces! Caden {1.13.14}

Hello folks. Not a lot of time but here it is. The weather was so cold that we were not allowed to be out for more than 15 minutes due to frost bite. If i can't email or write back right away i am sorry:( doing my best with time management. I hope most of my family got my letters. I sent them in package to McKayla. Believe it or not with how many i wrote it was a little bit cheaper that way!:) So it worked out nice. Please write letters guys. The email deals are nice but my time is limited so i can’t take time to read them as in depth as i would like. If you need an address talk to my familia! With the cold the way it is we have a hard time visiting people. So we went and tracted like crazy. Offering service before the lesson. now instead of just being saved already the people here told us not to waste time serving them cause it is too cold. And if we push the snow and ice out of the drive way they don’t have a reason to call into work. THESE PEEPS ARE LAZY! I couldn't even believe it. My companion is still just way awesome! The area is getting better the more i am here. Most people here smoke. By most people i mean EVERYONE! Including the members which means they come to church but can't act in any authority. The people that actually follow the rules and do what’s right are usually the ones from prison. I am waiting to hear back from pres. Shumway to see if we can teach at the jail!!! Hopefully! Either way i need to personally email my mommy and such peeps. Love yall so much and remember the deal to success is the relationship with god. The rest will fall into play.
