Caden {2.24.15}

Hey guys! Not a lot has happened here. We have had a lot of people going on splits with us but for some reason nobody answers there door when we go out!!!!!!!! It kinda sucks but that’s life. We contacted a guy named Jake that has not been to church in 6 or 7 years and after a little conversation he is willing to try again!!! Elder Cross is getting glasses! Hahaha i love it. So this kid john that is a less active is awesome! First of all i had a nightmare that he was kissing up on McKayla and i woke up terrified but i love the kid still. A couple days ago he walked by the apartment and really need to poop. So we let him use the bathroom cause there is nothing around there for him to use. He is in there watching YouTube videos for a solid twenty minutes. then he comes out and i am drinking some orange juice and he rips it out of my hand and starts chugging it but because he thought i was gonna hit him, and i did think about it, only a fourth of it made it in his mouth and the rest was on the carpet... then he grabs one of our clementine’s and starts playing hacky sack with it! He picks it up and goes "i like my fruit damaged..." he shoves it in his mouth peel and all while he is walking out the door. He gets grossed out and tries to spit it in out garbage but we slammed the door shut and let him fend for himself! Love yall and be safe!

I almost forgot... this kid is our elder’s quorum pres. and he has a way deep voice. The sound bit is how low his voice is all the time and here are some pics of our bon fire!! And i also am kinda good at etcha sketch thanks to Aunt Stacy’s V-day gift!!! And I play batman Ping-Pong on our coffee table!!! The next etcha sketch will be a portrait of me naked! You’re welcome.

Caden {2.17.14}

So we had a baptism Friday. We were supposed to go to the temple on Saturday but that fell through do to freezing rain. Not a ton has happened so far... Springfield is a very interesting place. We met two guys yesterday that we are going to teach this week. Umm... ya. I will throw some pics on here but that is about all!:) Oh ya... we ran out of spoons so I didn't even joke around when it came to needing some honey bunches of oats, and I met with president Shumway yesterday... That was very needed and really awesome!

So, I had a lot of fun with this package. There were also a bunch of random candies and some homemade goodies. & As you saw, my cute friend Megan took some really cute pictures to send off as well. I tried to keep the package half missionaryish/spiritual and then the other half all cutsie. I also obviously included a letter, and also an incredible poem that you can find here. (I highly suggest reading it and sending it to any missionary)

Postcards

So each month I will be sending Elder Madsen a postcard of myself in a different one of our favorite/special places.

Month one: This picture was taken in front of my cousin's house, in front of my car, which is where we had our first kiss back in August of 2012. The I love you sign was what we did each time we said goodbye, and has kinda become our thing. (:

Month two: This picture was taken on my couch in my living room, decked out in his Broncos attire in support for the game. This is where we spent many, many days and nights. Where we watched countless movies, of course cuddled, and had some of the best conversations. I miss those times.

Two months isn't a whole lot, but this is definitely the start. I'm incredibly proud of him and I look forward to this chance I have to love and support him through this journey of his. (:

Super Bowl!

Basically, Cade loves the Broncos. SO much. I knew he wouldn't be able to watch the game so I sent him a cute little package with all blue, orange, and Broncos things. He absolutely loved it. And don't worry, in his letter that he wrote a few days before Super Bowl he said "I'd be fine if the Broncos never win another game, as long as I get you for eternity" Guess he jinxed it, cause boy did they choke. (; Haha but hey, it was a cute package and that's all that matters. (:

Caden {2.3.14}

What’s up? How yall doin?? So not a lot going on here this week! i spent my Sunday evening in the emergency room with a sister in the ward that has a blood clot from here her ankle to her pelvis... we gave her a blessing and we could tell that she will be okay!:) So that’s good. We are teaching one girl that is super-duper deep... she asks the craziest daggum questions in the world! One of them was "if Elijah was translated was he resurrected or did he go to the spirit world?”

That some sort of a sick joke?? So we found the answer and she was happy, in case you’re wondering he is in heaven! Haha. Other than that we don't have very many deals goin on... i would love to hear more bout all a youins! Ya that's a new one I’m getting used to. So for breakfast our rich bishop that owns Nothum's food processing took us to Hemingway’s! It’s the restaraunt at the world’s first bass pro shop! The place is awesome! don't be too jealous trav. so while i was in the ER there was a giant t.v. playing the super bowl.... i picked up my chair and turned it around:/ but I’m glad i did cause people watching was awesome! Some chick got high on meth (Springfield is known as the meth capitol of the universe... you can get it anywhere!) she fell and split her chin so i got the watch that fiasco! So awesome! Well that’s all. Love yall be safe:)
