Caden {6.29.15}

It was a really good week! MLC was really awesome! We had a ton of fun! It was President Shumway's last one. President Loveland comes in on Wednesday and we are very excited for his arrival! The work is before us no matter who the president is so I might not have too many crazy stories for you! Haha. I smashed my thumb with a hammer so that is bruising under the nail but we did frame a shed so that was really cool! Elder Scott and Rudd took us to lunch so it was good to see Benji and James. I found these glasses by the computer, you're welcome. I saw Reynolds and Gorham so that made my day! Love you all so much. Be safe!

Caden {6.22.15}

Okay! Well it is already a super sweet transfer right off the start! My companion is super sweet and we are having a ton of fun! I got to see some old friends and pretend I am a middle aged drunk fireman in New York.... dat stache doe! And I will really miss Tulsa because of how pretty it is as well as the many people I love! Thanks to Syd for being so awesome and always taking care of me! This week was really good. In the three days I was here we had 14 or so lessons and found some awesome people and help to majorly progress a couple people that were road blocked! I love my new comp! He is really cool and is good at teaching and being a missionary! Nations will be baptized and taken to the temple! Well Willard, Ash Grove, Walnut Grove and a bit of Springfield at least.... Love you all so much! If you recently wrote me please be patient. I am trying to get them wrote and sent but I need to find the letters after the move! Have an awesome week and #7 days to Kayla and #8 to President Loveland!

Caden {6.15.15}

Well it was a great week! We went up by the port of Catoosa and had a ton of fun bowling with President and Sister Shumway. I tie a mean 9-layer-tie and the fun of YSA at stake conference! I love the area tons!!! But...... I will be transferred this Thursday up to Willard, MO that puts me back to Springfield! I will be so sad to leave these people and Tulsa that I have truly fell in love with but I can’t wait to get back up to see Bishop Nothum and all the other people I miss from 18 months ago. I will be companions with Elder Paventti? I think that is how you spell it. All I know is that he is Italian. (Thanks E.B.) And we will be Zone Leaders there. So it was a good week! Now to say all the good byes and try to send 9 month’s worth of build up home. Have fun mom. Love you all so much!

P.S. McKayla only has two weeks and then her and my mom and a couple other people will make up for all the letters you don’t send.
Much love,
EM

Caden {6.8.15}

So this week was pretty fun! There was a lot that happened but I can’t think of too much right now. I OTM'd a lady at a perfect time and all I said is, "You need to know that God loves you and whatever you are dealing with... he is aware! Let him take care of you" We were just passing each other in the parking lot of a gas station.... Well my goodness the flood gates opened. She lost it and said thank you a lot! The spirit is pretty awesome. I felt pretty bold but I usually am so I thought why not go for it. We found 3 or 4 new people this week and another one this morning. Everything is going good and we had a bon fire so I am not too bitter about that!:) Love you bunches. Spread joy!

{18 Months}

18 months!

Elder Madsen has officially completed his "girl mission." (;

Which means..

He only has six months left!!!

For one of my lessons while teaching drama class last week, we had a photo shoot! Thus creating this month's postcard featuring some of my cutie little students! Speaking of countdowns.. I only have 25 days left with these kiddos and my heart is already breaking at the thought of having to leave them. Stay tuned for that train wreck.

Cya soon, sweetheart!

Caden {6.1.15}

Wow this was a busy week. We are finally mostly moved in! So I am very excited about that. Now we can get a little bit more work done! We have a man named Mike that is getting ready for baptism on the 27th and we are very excited. The Lord blesses you if you do what he says. He told us the harvest the field that is white and that is what I do! Nothing too crazy this week. Just lots of work! And Abe Lincoln. Enough said!
